Since the days of the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), eSafeguarding has served as a registered umbrella body for the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), helping to create safe and secure environments for children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
Beginning in December 2012, we partnered with the DBS - formed under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 through the merger of the CRB and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) - to create and refine the eSafeguarding online disclosure service.
